Resources for Alzheimer’s Care Providers

Alzheimer's ProjectFor caregivers of someone suffering from Alzheimer’s or dementia, there is never enough learning to be done.  But who has the time – let alone energy – to go to as many caregiver support groups and seminars as one would like to?  In today’s world, there are many resources for Alzheimer’s care providers.  HBO recently released a documentary called “The Alzheimer’s Project.”  If you missed it on-air, this invaluable documentary is available now on DVD and online.  It not only goes over the science of Alzheimer’s and dementia, but also reviews how the disease affects both the individual person and those that care for them.

We stand behind this series so much that Spring Mill Senior Living is currently highlighting “The Memory Loss Tapes” at monthly educational meetings for staff.  It has been a powerful resource for everyone.

If you love someone who suffers from some form of memory loss, or are providing care for someone with Alzheimer’s, you can request this FREE companion book to the HBO series by clicking on the image to the right.
